Care Review launch date announced

Wednesday 5 February

On Wednesday 5 February, the Independent Care Review will launch its final conclusions, producing a series of publications that marks the culmination of nearly three years of listening to people across Scotland who have personal and professional experience of the ‘care system’.

Over 5,000 people have selflessly shared their experiences to make positive change a reality.

Thank you once again to everyone who shared their thoughts and views with the Care Review!

Your voice has been so important for helping the Care Review understand what has to change to make things better for infants, children, young people and families in Scotland.

From Wednesday 5 February, you will be able to access and read print and electronic versions of the publications and watch a series of videos.

The Care Review will make sure everyone who would like to learn about the conclusions and plans for what happens next can do so.

If you would like an alternative format of any publications please get in touch and email: info@carereview.scot

What happens after Wednesday 5 February?

Following the launch, the Care Review’s Participation Hub would like to feedback directly about how your voice has impacted the conclusions.

The Participation Hub team will be travelling around Scotland between Thursday 6 and Wednesday 19 of February and would love to pay you a visit or host an event with you to celebrate.

Please get in touch if you have any specific dates or ideas about how you would like this to happen.

The Care Review will also be supporting groups to host their own events and will be producing packs to help with this.

Send the team an email with your ideas: participationhub@carereview.scot

Check out the Care Review website and social media channels for regular news and updates over the coming weeks.
