The fourth and final Independent Care Review roadshow took place at Discovery Point in Dundee on Saturday 28 September and marked the end of a series of events across Scotland that provided opportunities for anyone who took part to learn about the work of the Care Review.
Review roadshows visited Inverness, Dumfries, Paisley and Dundee, and formed part of a participation and engagement strategy developed with the goal of listening to as many people as possible during the Care Review’s Journey stage, giving people with experience of the ‘care system’ in Scotland the chance to have their say.
The roadshow events were just one of the many ways that people have been able to find out more about the Care Review, its work groups and the diverse mix of individuals involved.
Each event featured workshops and creative projects from care experienced children and young people, showcasing a diverse range of brilliant talents from across the country.
